What have you read lately that you would recommend?
Fiction, non-fiction, anything. Self-help, even. I keep rereading the same things over and over, and it's just not satisfying anymore. I need to broaden my horizons past Anne McCaffrey, Jodi Picoult, and Robert Heinlein.

I just finished "Lulu In Hollywood," a memoir by Louise Brooks. It was excellent. You don't have to be familiar w/ her work, with "Old Hollywood" or anything to enjoy it. The writing is excellent.
In terms of blogging, etc., I love to go back to E.B. White's essays, in books like One Man's Meat.
I've also recently picked up Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance again.
Another book I'm really enjoying right now is Boys on the Bus, about the press coverage of the 1972 Presidential election.
I'm having fun with a British author named Tom Holt. The plots are almost always ridiculous to the point of uselessness, but he's a funny, funny man.
(Tracked you down again. Well, finally checked why my RSS feeds weren't getting anything and then found that I'd missed the message you'd moved.)
